Film, Art & Tourism Festival - FilmAT
The Festival is managed by the Festival Board.
Film, Art & Tourism Festival - FilmAT in Warsaw is the Polish Member of International Committee of Tourfilm Festivals - CIFFT ( Comité International des Festivals du Film Touristique) with a seat in Vienna. CIFFT is the only organization in the world that every year since 1989 chooses the world´s best tourism film, rewarded at the Grand Prix CIFFT Gala with the Grand Prix CIFFT.
The aim of the festival is to present the latest trends in tourism and environmental film and the evaluation of the audio-visual productions, of their artistic level and essential content. The Festival supports the development of national and foreign tourism and is organizing a separate Polish and international film competition.
Statutory prizes for films in Polish and international competition are judged by an international Jury which consists of top-ranking experts in the field of tourism, ecology and film, filmmakers, journalists, and representatives of the world of science. The decision of the Jury is final.
The statutory prizes of the national competition and the international competition are awarded in the following three main themes, in which the top prize is the Grand Prix:

Grand Prix Junior for Film for Children & Youth
From all the above-mentioned categories, film presenting the greatest artistic values can be rewarded with Grand Prix ART.

The best documentary film for scientist is rewarded with a statuette of TOURIST OWL.
Special prizes - non-statutory - may be granted by the Board of the International Tourfilm Academy, Ministry of Sport and Tourism, Ministry of Environment, Polish Tourist Organisation, Director of the Festival, the Management Board of the Festival and the main partners of the Festival.
The Festival program includes the International Tourfilm Academy Conference, which joins into a discussion and exchange of experiences between representatives of tourism and environmental industry, filmmakers, journalists and scientific community.
The festival accepts film productions from all subjects and categories of statutory prizes, no longer than one hour and produced no earlier than three years ago. The entrant must own the copyright of the participating film or have the permission to use it.
Festival participant is required to fill in the application form, and to pay the registration fee of 130 Euros (+VAT) for a particular category; the film may be submitted in multiple categories. Each subsequent film or category associated with a fee of 110 Euros (+VAT). The film in the best technical quality should be uploaded on a server shared by the organizers. In justified cases, the film should be sent to the Festival Office; shipping costs shall be borne by the festival participant. The registration fee has to be paid once the application has been send. No refund will be given.
Statutory and non-statutory prizes are awarded during the Gala Festival FilmAT. Gala participants are the guests of honor from around the world, the big winners and accompanying persons. The financial terms of participation in the Gala is presented separately in each edition of the festival.
By signing the application form every participant declares that he owns all copyrights and agrees that his film will be used for free for promotion purposes for the festival and during festival projections (entirely and only in parts). The entrant bears all costs related to a copyright infringement that may occur to the festival organizers through the publication of his film.
The submission of production means full acceptance of all points of above mentioned regulation.
